The Validity Period of the Import License (PI) and Commodity Quota

Import License (PI) Document Registration Difficulties
The complicated requirements and procedures for applying for an Import License make you confused and hesitant to apply for an Import License, even though they are written and listed on the websites of each relevant Ministry/Institution.
The process of applying for an Import License (PI) that involves several related Ministries because Approvals and Recommendations from relevant Ministries/Institutions are required refers to each commodity for which an Import License (PI) will be submitted.
The regulatory benchmarks for this import approval will be updated and developed in response to changes in import and trade conditions in this country. Each commodity makes reference to the relevant and valid regulatory references from the respective Ministries/Institutions Regulations.
Each Import License includes an import quota based on your application, as well as recommendations and approval from the relevant Ministry. The import quota approved in the Import Approval may be less than the import quota submitted on the application. Everything comes back to the considerations of the ministries/agencies and the realization of your company's already underway imports.
Companies are not permitted to import restricted goods that do not pass through the port of loading of the country of origin and the port of destination listed on the Import License (PI) that the company has submitted. There will be no problem as long as your company registers the loading port of the country of origin and the destination port according to your specifications. So, when applying for an Import License, be prudent in determining the quota as well as the port and country of origin (PI).
Importers are unsure whether the goods to be imported must be accompanied by an Import License document or not when determining the HS code of the goods to be imported from among the many commodities that exist and are registered with the Ministry of Trade based on the HS CODE of each existing commodity.
